INGENIUM
The word "INGENIUM" in Latin means innate character , talent , natural. This word resembles the word " INGENIATOR " which means as "AN ENGINEER" . It also resembles the word "INGENIOUS ONE" . "INGENIUM - Discovering Innovators" is a ' State Level Technical Symposium ' , being organized by " JNNCE , MECHANICAL ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT, SHIVAMOGGA " on 3rd of April, 2010. It is a platform for young and blooming engineers where they can exhibit their talents and innovative ideas. The ingenious one is going to be awarded.
PROJECT EXHIBITION
“Talent finds its models, methods, and ends in society, exists for exhibition, and goes to the soul only for power to work. Genius is its own end, and draws its means and the style of its architecture from within.”
Mechanical Engineering is a stream where lots of creative things can be built.The projects may be related to mechanical software,working models , conceptiual models etc. Projects not only bring out the creative part of yours but also enhances your expression of thoughts and takes you to a level where success seems lower than excellence.

Final year projects in all categories of mechanical engineering can be presented .
Rules and Regulations:
1.Maximum of four participants per team.
2.Final year projects can be presented.
3.Entry fee Rs 100/- per team.
